I think I have found something promising called Subsonic:<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.subsonic.org\/pages\/index.jsp<\/p>\n<p>So far &#8211; it does a good job of transcoding the Apple Lossless down to a 256k mp3 stream, and thanks to Chris, I know a couple of us can listen to different things at the same time.
